What Is Your Deepest Fear?
What is your deepest fear?
I first heard that watching Coach Carter
One of my favourite films about the ‘struggle to glory’ mindset
It’s over ten years old that film, staring Samuel L Jackson
A great film in my opinion
All about a struggling basketball team in a bad neighbourhood
They don’t come from great beginnings these kids
Their Parents and family members are in jail or struggle day to day with poor paying jobs
They have bad attitudes because that’s how they protect themselves
They push people away...
He teaches them a new way!
They learn respect
And have a new set of beliefs drilled into them
They pay their dues with blood sweat and tears
They train hard
They work hard
And as they get better physically
Their mental strength and confidence improves too
What is your greatest fear?
“Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us.”
So sometimes you can be afraid to bring your best out through fear of others feeling small around you.
Did you watch Britain’s Got Talent on Saturday?
Did you see the dad and son singing, playing guitar?
Did you Notice how everyone stood up in the audience clapping and cheering...
We like to see people do well!
If you want to do well
If you want to do your best
Don’t let anyone stop you
Bring out your best
